Upcoming Changes to Your Account

You may have recently heard that we will be moving your account from our existing systems across to a new and more powerful platform called The Console. As such, the way that you manage your account and services with us will change.

We’re dedicated to providing our customers with the very best that technology has to offer and are proud to announce that we will be upgrading all of our customers accounts across to The Console, where we will be able to provide faster and more responsive web services.

 

What do I need to do?

Not a thing!
We haven’t yet moved your account across, so nothing has been changed yet. Once we’ve scheduled in a date to move you across we will send an email to the contact email address on file for your account and will keep you up-to-date every step of the way.

When it comes time to move your account across we will handle everything through our internal migration systems and will notify you in the unlikely event of an issue, so just sit back, relax and leave the rest to us!

 

Where do I log into now?

The exact same place you have been!
As your account is currently waiting to be migrated over, you can still log in using your normal login page and details. Once we’ve moved you over we will provide you with the details you need to access your account in The Console and everything you need to know in order to manage it.

 

What about paying for my account?

Nothing has changed! Everything is exactly as you had it before.
The payment details that you had on your account have not changed, so all of your payments and settings are exactly the same.

Once we have moved you across we will let you know if there’s anything new or if anything needs to be changed by you.

 

And my Website and Emails? Will they be affected?

Not a bit! We’ll make everything as pain-free as we can when the time comes, however for now things are exactly where you left them.
As the server that your account is hosted on is not changing, you will not notice any differences.

In fact, as we will be taking every available measure to ensure that the movement of your account is as smooth as possible, you probably won’t even know you’ve been moved until we notify you!

I currently manage my website redirection services through your Domain Management System – Where can I find these in The Console?

As the DNS and redirection services which you have configured in our Domain Management System will be migrated into The Console, you don’t need to worry about setting up all of your web redirects again as we’re already doing that for you. As The Console handles some redirection services a little differently to the Domain Management System, if you cannot locate any of your redirects within your new Console account, please contact our Customer Service teams as some changes will need to be made from our end for any URL Redirected Subdomains that you may have.
